Cameroon: As heavy rains drench Yaoundé, a CAMAIR-CO jet overruns the runway
At the Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airpot, n Embraer ERJ-145 leased from Equatorial Guinean Cronos Airlines Corporation, Camair-co overran the runway.
According to on-the-ground sources, the jet lost control when a severe rainfall hit Yaoundé on Friday evening May 21st, 2021. Under the downpour, firefighters arrived on the site and evacuated the passengers. According to reports, there were no casualties recorded.
