North West Regional Councillor, Chief Onko Moses Amah joins ancestors
Chief Onko Moses Amah, Fon of Nser, a village in the Furu Awah Subdivision, Menchum Division in Cameroon’s North West region, and regional councillor, has died.
His death was announced in a press release signed by His Majesty Fon Yakum Kevin Teuvih, President of the North West House of Chiefs, on Wednesday, May 12.
According to Fon Yakum’s press release, his colleague was a very level-headed guy who worked hard for the institutions he represented.
Aside from being the Fon of Nseh, a locality in the Furu Awah subdivision, Menchum Division of the North West, the late Fon was appointed regional Councillor in the first ever regional council elections in Cameroon, where he served as a member of the North West House of Divisional Representatives’ Committee on Environment, Regional Development, State Property, Town Planning, and Housing.
His Majesty Fon Yakum Kevin has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Nseh royal family and the entire Fondom on behalf of the North West Regional Assembly and Fons of the region.
At the time of publication, the circumstances of his death had not been disclosed.
